In May of 2017, twitter user @leyawn posted a patent for a mega guillotine (the advantage being that a mega guillotine can fit up to fifteen congressmen at a time, whereas a standard guillotine can fit only one). Sean Bonnette, singer of folk-punk stalwarts AJJ, saw the tweet and immediately wrote “Mega Guillotine 2020,” a catchy sing-a-long ode to the revolutionary razor. It’s the second new track from their album Good Luck Everybody, due out this January.

The song comes with a video to help drive the message home. Set up like a children’s show, Bonette and AJJ bassist Ben Gallaty sing the praises of the mega guillotine and promise to vote for it in the upcoming presidential election, all the while showing off the glorious device. Lined up in the mega guillotine are the heads of a bevy of billionaires, politicians, and tech sickos, black-eyed and awaiting the drop of the blade as they sway back and forth with the jaunty tune. The music is bouncy and fun and the visuals are more light-hearted than that description makes them sound, as more xenophobes and villains of twentieth-first century capitalism get their moment.

Check it out below and don’t be surprised to find yourself singing along, expressing your love and commitment to the only thing worth electing next year.

We love you mega guillotine. We’re voting for you.
